Russia suspended negotiations with Turkey on the construction projects of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline and Akkui nuclear power plant. This was reported by Interfax with reference to a source familiar with the situation.

"The current supplies of Russian gas do not fall under the embargo and will be carried out in accordance with the contract," the source noted. Türkiye is the second consumer of Russian gas after Germany.
