The Ministry of Emergency Situations has completed the delivery of luggage from Egypt for Russian tourists who, for safety reasons, were allowed to take only hand luggage on the plane. As an employee of the ministry's press service told TASS, on December 1, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Il-76 delivered the last luggage from Egypt, which belongs to Russians who had previously left Egyptian resorts on seven flights.

In total, since the cessation of air traffic with Egypt, more than 782 tons of tourists' personal belongings have been delivered to Russia on 37 flights. Aircraft from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, and Volga-Dnepr Airlines were involved in the delivery of luggage. "The Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out 17 flights, the Ministry of Defense - 16, and Volga-Dnepr Airlines - four flights," TASS quotes.

On December 1, the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations published explanations on how citizens can receive their luggage. All their things were unloaded at Vnukovo Airport. After sorting, the luggage is sent to the airport to which its owners arrived from Egypt. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports what documents the owner of the luggage or his authorized representative needs to have, who to contact for clarification, where to look for luggage without markings.
