The dollar fell to 66 rubles

The ruble advances on world currencies on Tuesday, December 1, during the first hour of operation of the Moscow Exchange. Trading in the US dollar began on the ETS with transactions in the range of 66.185–66.45 rubles/$, on average in one and a half minutes the rate was 66.25 rubles/$ (-24 kopecks compared to the previous close). The euro exchange rate was 70.1 rubles/euro (-16 kopecks)

As of 10.40 Moscow time, the dollar is trading at 66.2 rubles. The minimum rate at which transactions with American currency were made at that hour was 66.1 rubles. At the same time, the euro is trading at 70.11 rubles. near the reached minimum – 69.97 rubles.

The Bank of Russia increased the official exchange rates as of December 1: the euro, according to the Central Bank’s estimates, rose to 70.65 rubles, the dollar – to 70.65 rubles. The bi-currency basket amounted to 68.5 rubles.

The ruble is supported by news from the oil market. Thus, as of 10.40 Moscow time on the Intercontinental Exchange in London, the January futures for the North Sea Brent mixture is rising to $44.99 per barrel. At the same time, January futures for light oil WTI rose to $42.01 per barrel.
