The Picnic exhibition is the first project in Perm and Russia in the format of total installation, which will be presented on all three floors of the museum. There will be a dark room with mysterious lit objects and a salt altar, the second floor for a picnic, food and conversation, and on the third there is a place for winter hibernation: “Spectators can put on a bear costume and choose any shelter for sleep, and then write down their“ bearish ”dreams and dreams,” says one of the authors of the “picnic” York Lenzlinger .
Swiss artists Gerda Steiner and Yorg Lenzlinger work in the SITE-SPECIC genre-works of art are created in the space with which they are associated. Therefore, the authors of the exhibition visited Perm back in February, they fell in love with the wide Kama River, the Urals and Perm Wooden Sculptures. Their vivid impressions formed the basis of installations, artists invite the audience to become part of it, to feel in the museum as on a picnic.
The exhibition "Picnic" opens on December 2 at 19:00 in the Museum of Modern Art Permm . It will last until February 28 .
