Trucks protests began on November 11, four days before the introduction of the Plato system into work. Now trucks weighing more than 12 tons must pay for travel along federal routes. The input of the system entailed the numerous protests of the drivers of heavy trucks. The largest action was planned by drivers on November 30. Truck drivers from 17 regions of the country planned to get to Moscow and block the Moscow Ring Road. They could not do this: the trucks were stopped on the tracks, the activists were detained and pulled into negotiations.
