Activists of the "Right Sector" did not allow the repair team "Ukrenergo" to launch the Kakhovskaya-Titan power line. According to the 112 Ukrainian TV channel, this is stated in the statement of the Right Sector. Repairmen, accompanied by law enforcement officials, came to damaged supports of the Kakhovskaya-Titan power transmission line at about 21:00 Sunday. However, as stated in the statement "PS", "they only managed to install fuses." At the moment, PS members are on duty near the power lines.
The “right sector” noted that for them it was a surprise to the consent of the Medzhlis representatives to restore the supply of electricity to the Crimea, adding that they do not understand the position of both the authorities and part of the blockade organizers.
“If the supply of electricity is restored, the“ right sector ”will cease to participate in the public campaign“ Blockade of Crimea ”, since it does not see the point in such“ blocking ”. We reserve the right to control and prevent the supply of goods and resources to the occupied territory,” the PS statement said.
Earlier, the head of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, did not exclude that the energy supply of Crimea from mainland Ukraine will be restored before the end of the month along the Kakhovskaya Typan line. In addition, the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev, according to the results of negotiations with the President, said that the supply of electricity to the peninsula can be restored in a volume not exceeding 200-250 MW.
