© Ralph Lauer / The Cliburn CompetitionOn Wednesday, December 9, in the concert hall of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, the winner of the Van Klibern Vadim Kholodenko contest will be performed by Ferruuccio Buzoni's piano concert.
The concert will be attended by a symphony orchestra of the Karelian State Philharmonic, under the direction of Anatoly Rybalko and the male choir of the Mariinsky Theater under the direction of Andrei Petrenko.
One of the most famous publishers and editors of the clavier essays of Johann Sebastian Bach, Ferrucio Buzoni (1866–1924) wrote his piano concert in 1904.
This rarely executed large -scale work lasts at least 60 minutes, the soloist’s game is accompanied by an orchestra of the maximum composition (with additional wooden oven and shock battery), and in the last part the choir hidden to time comes to time.
Also in the program the sixth symphony ("pastoral") Beethoven.
