Young entrepreneurs, the authors of the Motorik project created and certified the children's hand prosthesis using a 3D printer. The bionic prosthesis responds to the movements of the abdominal muscles, allows you to produce various movements and trains the muscles of the hand.
With the help of special nozzles, the “motor skills” prostheses easily turn into a modern multifunctional gadget, and the child represents himself to the beloved character: Darth Vader, Spider-Man, Supershpion, etc. Five people are already using the new generation prostheses, another 15 children are being prepared for installation.
“Today, in Russia, children's prostheses are inconvenient, outdated and cause children to be uncertainty. We want the prosthesis to be perceived not as a medical product or a dummy of a hand. Let it be an interesting gadget, toy, its own unique superpower, ”says the founder of the startup Ilya Czech.
In October, Motorika presented 7-year-old Ana from the Krasnodar Territory prostheses with a fastener for a jump rope and a nozzle-player. Now Anya is learning to jump on a rope with her girlfriends and boast of her prosthesis on the swimming section.
In the present, the authors of the project collect money to develop the first series of functional nozzles for prostheses through crowdfunding. For three days, 65 thousand rubles were collected on the crowdfunding platform Planeta.ru . In total, 150 thousand rubles are required.
“When choosing crowds, you get the appropriate device as a gift. Thanks to the program “Technology of Opportunities” that doubles your contribution, the second device you give the child who uses our prosthesis. Together with the gift, we send both him and you a special mount for the hand, artificial or ordinary, ”said Ilya.
To support the project financially, to offer an idea for the nozzle, to ask questions to developers on the project page .
