A monument to Eldar Ryazanov will be erected in Samara

In 2016, in Samara, where Eldar Ryazanov was born, it is planned to erect a monument to the director.

This was reported by the Russian News Service with reference to the State Duma deputy from the Samara region, the co -chair of the Cultural Samara Organizing Committee Alexander Khinshtein.

“I do not exclude that next year the sculpture of memory of Eldar Ryazanov will appear in Samara. Already in December, work in this direction will begin, ”said Khinshtein.

In addition, the city hall reported that "the Samara administration is working on the installation of a memorial plaque in honor of Eldar Ryazanov."

Eldar Ryazanov ( 1937–2015 ) was born in Samara, where the family of his mother lived. By the 85th anniversary of the director , a monument was erected in the city, Yuri Detochkin , the main character of Ryazanov’s film “Watch out the car”.
