Donald Trump healed the whole world with a proposal not to let Muslims in the United States

Trump's words were criticized from all sides: the proposal was condemned by both the White House and Trump's associates in the Republican Party. The statements of the US presidential candidate negatively reacted outside America. Medusa tells how Trump once again made everyone talk about himself.

On December 7, 2015, Trump offered to close all Muslims in the USA. Initially, the statement stated that the ban should affect even American citizens professing Islam, but then Trump made a reservation that it was only about foreigners. The statement of the US presidential candidate was published in writing, which excludes the likelihood of some kind of error or incorrect interpretation.

Donald Trump has recently lost popularity, as evidenced by polls among the Republicans. In the summer, he was considered an unconditional favorite of the future primaries of the Republicans (who must determine the only candidate from the “Great Old Party”), but now the businessman now and then gives way to the Senator from Floridimarko Rubio or the representative of Texas in the Senatetaded Cruz.

Trump is a politician who always says that others consider it extremely indecent. For example, calling the Mexicans “rapists” and criminals, Trump quarreled with the Mexico authorities, but earned support for radical opponents of migrants. In addition, Trump said extremely rudely about women (in particular, he allowed epithets such as “fat pig” and “disgusting animal”), mocked a journalist with a chronic disease and stated that now is not a time for political correctness.

In the past couple of months, Trump switched to Muslims. In particular, he recalled the old (and unconfirmed) rumors regarding the Muslim religion of Barack Obama, and also proposed to close all the mosques. But with the initiative to prohibit the entry of Muslims in response to the murder of 14 people in California, committed by supporters of the Islamists, Trump went too far - even his single -party people think.

According to the presidential candidate from the Republicans, Karli Fiorina, Trump's statement was a reaction to the growth of Cruise rating in recent surveys. Other candidates from the Republicans, including the recent favorite of Jeb Bush, also criticized Trump. The speaker of the House of Representatives Paul Ryan, the speaker of the House of Representatives, commented on the most straightforwardly by the billionaire’s statement: “The proposal to ban the country to visit all representatives of one religion is not what the Republican Party fights for. Moreover, this is not what the whole country is fighting for. ”

The White House called Trump's statement dangerous for national security and unrealized, and the entrepreneur’s election campaign itself - false and complete unfounded slogans. The White House also stated that such words actually disqualify Trump from the election race, however, according to American law, the decision is not made by the presidential press service, but the Federal Electoral Commission.

No less negative was the European reaction. France Prime Minister Manuel Vall said that Donald Trump is making hatred; British Prime Minister David Cameron called a proposal to prohibit the entry of Muslims in the United States with a sowing ramp, useless and categorically wrong.

For all absurdity, Trump's proposal is fully consistent with the US Constitution, notes The New York Times. The basic law of the American state guarantees protection against infringement on religious signs and freedom of religion, but this applies only to US citizens. Moreover, such laws have already been adopted - however, more than a hundred years ago: in 1889, restrictions on hiring Chinese citizens were introduced. Finally, the president could introduce such a restriction even without the consent of the congress.

It is hard to imagine that some other candidate for the US president-except Donald Trump-allowed himself to be similar statements. It is hard to imagine that his ratings then crawled up, and the political party would not have expelled him with shame. And it’s even more difficult to imagine that all this got away with him again. However, Trump is still in the Republican Party and still-one of the favorites of the elections.
