Ildara Dadina sentenced to three years in prison for "repeated violations of the order of mass events." He became the first convict under article 212.1 of the Criminal Code. The defense of Dadina filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court with a request to admit this norm of anti -constitutional, he himself did not admit his guilt. Later it became known that lawyers appealed the sentence to their client. In addition to Dadin, the same article are activated by Mark Halperin and Vladimir Ionov. Amnesty International called Ildar Dadin to a political prisoner, and the Memorial International Society demanded his liberation.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) recognized Russia's violation of the right to life.
