15th anniversary of "Fringes"

15 years ago, on December 14, 2000, the Grani.Ru website was launched.

At first, the publication existed in the format of an online magazine. A few years later, a news feed and regular author's columns appeared, since 2008 - their own video production.

On March 13, 2014, Grani.Ru became the first registered media outlet in Russia to be blocked indefinitely under Lugovoi's law for "calling for participation in uncoordinated actions." Together with us, Navalny's blog (later unlocked), EZh.ru and Kasparov.ru were blocked.
