Yevgeny Vitishko stopped his hunger strike

Yevgeny Vitishko decided to stop the hunger strike due to the deterioration of his health, said Andrei Rudomakha, coordinator of the Environmental Watch for the North Caucasus.

On November 10, the Kirsanovsky District Court of the Tambov Region decided to replace the unserved part of the sentence with a restriction of freedom, but the prosecutor's office challenged this decision. On November 24, Vitishko began a hunger strike for the second time in the colony-settlement, protesting against the obstruction of his parole. On December 11, his health deteriorated sharply.

Yevgeny Vitishko "has serious health problems," Sergei Loktev, the activist's lawyer, said in turn. “He has low blood pressure, which makes him dizzy.
