Connection of the second thread of the Energomost did not save the Crimea from the shortage of electricity and emergency mode

The launch of the second thread of the Energomost from the Krasnodar Territory to Crimea did not save the republic from the shortage of electricity that arose after the energy unit of the peninsula. Under these conditions, the Crimean authorities did not cancel the emergency mode, as planned earlier. The leadership of the republic promises that power outages will be minimal, three to four hours a day, or the deficit will not be noticeable at all.

The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said on the eve that on the peninsula "there will still be a certain energy deficit," the Crimea News reported. "With the launch of the first line, we were able to provide electricity to the Krymchans houses at least 12 hours a day, and the launch of the second thread will make it possible to develop schedules for the operation of industrial enterprises and the commercial sector. But a small shortage will remain," the head of the republic explained.

Aksenov expressed the hope that Crimean energy with the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation "will be able to correctly distribute this electricity in such a way that everyone is satisfied - and household consumers, and those who work in the real sector of the economy." According to him, "the disconnections will be minimal, three to four hours a day, and perhaps the power engineers will be able to make a scheme in which no one will feel the shortage at all."

Aksenov also said that the emergency regime in the republic no longer functions in full, but it is still not worth exchanging it. Judging by the data on the website of the Crimean government, the emergency regime on the December 16 peninsula is preserved.

In Feodosia, the authorities decided to use the energy deficit to legalize private hotels. The head of the city administration Dmitry Shchepetkov said that the energy supply schedule to private guest houses can be revised only after their legalization.

The graph of the power supply restriction, according to the official, remains in force for garage cooperatives, a hundred and private guest houses in the residential sector. "All industrial enterprises of the city - the defense industry and winemakers - from 8 to 17 hours receive electricity on schedule. We need 5-6 MW to launch minor commerce," the head of the administration said.

Schepetkov explained that on the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, when vacationers appear, the energy supply limits will be needed by private hotels. “This is a good mechanism to drive them and make them real hotels, and not private houses according to documents,” the head of the administration explained.

Meanwhile, a shortage of firewood arose in Feodosia, on the eve of the Flashcrimea portal with reference to the city administration. “Firewood is now in a huge shortage,” the city leadership said. It is noted that it is quite difficult to purchase firewood: in the Starrykomsky forestry - the queue until 2017. The report emphasizes that public figures, entrepreneurs and representatives of the United Russia party are trying to assist in the acquisition of firewood for low -income residents at their own expense.

The energy blockade of Crimea began on November 22. Ukrainian activists undermined the supports of the four power lines: Melitopol - Dzhanka, Kakhovskaya - Ostrovskaya, Kakhovskaya - Titan and Kakhovskaya - Dzhanka. On November 30, power lines Kakhovskaya - Titan was restored, but the blockade participants did not allow it to operate.

On December 2, Putin visited Simferopol to take part in the launch of the first thread of the Energomost from the Krasnodar Territory to the Crimea. Its power is 200 MW. The same number of power will allow the second thread to transmit additionally to the Crimean energy system. The own power generation on the peninsula is 584 MW. Together, this is approximately 1000 MW, which, according to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, is from 80 to 100% of the needs of the Crimean energy system, depending on the time of day, temperature regime, the operation of wind and solar generation and without taking into account diesel-generator plants.

On December 8, the Right Sector organization prohibited in the Russian Federation announced the termination of the energy blockade of Crimea. The decision was made after the statement of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people on the resumption of electricity supplies to Crimea according to one of the power lines.
