The Chinese submarine simulated a blow by winged missiles on the American aircraft carrier Reagan when the ships in the Japanese Sea are closer at the end of October, says The Washington Free Beacon .

According to the official representatives of the American Ministry of Defense, the actions of the crew of the Chinese submarine violate the Code of conduct with unplanned contacts at sea, adopted in 2014 and designed to reduce the risk of shootout between marine courts.

One of the sections of the Code prescribes to avoid actions that can lead to accidents. The simulation of the attack by aiming missiles and other types of weapons in the direction of the oncoming vessel or aircraft is given in the list of such undesirable actions.

Recently, representatives of the American Navy conducted a briefing in Congress in connection with this incident on October 24: a few days before the American destroyer Lassen went 12 miles from the disputed islands in the South China Sea, which provoked a strict reaction of Beijing.

Until now, the White House administration kept secretly an incident with Reagan in connection with an unwillingness to aggravate relations with China, the publication claims. Admiral Harry Harris, the head of the Pacific Command of the US Armed Forces of the United States, replied that he could not comment on this situation, but did not deny that the incident took place.

The press secretary of the Pacific Fleet previously redirected all issues in connection with this incident of the command of the Chinese Navy.

Recall that after the incident with the destroyer Lassen at the end of October, the commander of the naval forces of China, Admiral by Shanli, announced the existence of the risk that the "insignificant incident" could lead to the beginning of the war due to the provocative actions of the United States in the South China Sea.
