Film about protests 2011-2012
The authors "Putin forever?" Director Kirill Nenashev and producer Maria Muskevich predictably set a question mark in the name, although from the first frames you remember that then, four years ago, the answer to him was obvious: of course not! The heart beats joyfully, as if he fell into childhood, in the Golden Age, in a happy time of hopes and aspirations. The first chapter of the film is called: "Hope." The audience gathered in the hall looks at the screen and recalls how she went to the wrong rally, so at this one, not in Moscow, so in St. Petersburg or Paris, and everyone then demanded something, they were sure that the power would make concessions, laid out photos in social networks, wrote that let us not a million, like in 1991, but we were, we looked into each other, we saw so many beautiful cute lovers, we saw us, we saw. We realized that we are not alone, we must hear us, because otherwise it cannot be! The first swamp, Sakharov Avenue, Pushkinskaya, the first detentions. “We sat in the same country, and went to another,” says Alexey Navalny after the first 15-day arrest, and you believe him, nostalgia rolls at you, you look around: here they are, all these people, these bright faces with whom they were in the square, “walked” along the Boulevard Ring, held hands on the garden ... It was so fun to go to the whites-to go to the whites. ribbons, distribute white balls, traveling around Moscow on "honest" buses ... It seems that the film is not just a reminder to us today, as we were yesterday, but an attempt to monitor the clock, to meet again late in the Moscow cinema, show ourselves that we are alive and breathe.
A real politician should be ready not only to sit down, but also to plant others, to carry them along so that they go and sit down
And here is the main character of the picture, through the history of which Russian protests are shown: Vsevolod Chernozub, a member of the Solidarity movement, a representative of the "generation of the Maidan", as he calls himself. He is a political activist, he is supposed to be more engaged than the layman, but he is not one of those who will specifically fight the police, climb into the rampage, go out on the 31st on the triumphant square, knowing that he would be tied up for a peaceful protest, against violence, and those tens of thousands of people went to rallies with children, not planning to finish the evening in the evening Monkey. Vsevolod is sincere, he does not play on the camera, he says what he thinks, and the unconditional luck of the film is that we see how the hero changes along with protest. It is radicalized, after the first detentions compares himself, well, or politicians like himself (for the first time calling himself a politician) with the military: they say, a real military man should be able not only to do something, but also to lead people. A real politician should be ready not only to sit down, but also to plant others, to carry them along so that they go and sit down. And then a wormhole appears, you catch yourself on the same thought on which you caught it then: are you ready to sit for the sake of such politicians as Vsevolod Chernozub, and are you ready to sit down at all?
The film is cyclical, like the protests themselves. At some point, endless rallies, slogans, loud music and loud words are tiring, recall that it was somewhere between Sakharov and the presidential election of 2012 that this fatigue began to be felt at rallies and marches. “You won’t change anything, but we must go,” they said and wrote on Facebook then. And they went, in the same composition, but somehow doomed. In "we here, power" believed less and less.
It was not possible to resist the director from dividing into black and white, into a smart opposition and Soviet scumbag raspberries
The authors "Putin forever?" We decided to observe the principle of journalistic objectivity, showing another Russia, the one for Putin. There are also pro-government rallies with brought students, there are old people who admit that 500 rubles for participation are waiting, there are ordinary, well-dressed citizens, they respect and love the president for living well, they are afraid of the return of the 90s, they want calmness, not Maidan, and they have every right to do so. But, unfortunately, the director from dividing into black and white, into a smart opposition and Soviet scumbag with appropriate slogulimaline music, which plays every time shows shots with passing rallies or when riot police, is striking into the crowd. From the same opera and Antherler: Vitaly Morozov, nicknamed Til. He used to be a hippie, but now he turned into a God -fearing bearded man à la Rasputin. He loves Putin and talks about the world conspiracy, revolution, but in general he carries nonsense. The audience applauds the most odious statements, he is ridiculous, ridiculous, but stupid - city crazy. Involuntarily, you ask the question: that, in Moscow, there were no other fans of the current president who could formulate the position of the "" camp "without arranging a booth?
The performance of Mathieu Laran, a journalist with Radio France, also looks strange. He seems to be a view of the outside, gives an expert assessment of the events in Russia, but after his words that Putin is “Chechnya, Beslan, Politkovskaya” and generally unjustified violence, I would like to send him a textbook on the latest history of Russia, and also advise you to re -read outlines on the theory of journalism, where it is written about the objective view of things.
Fatigue from rallies, or rather, in this case, from the video from rallies is replaced by irritation, a sense of hopelessness, I would like to go out to drink water. That is what the last chapter of the film is called: "hopelessness." “We are power here”, but riot police creates what he wants: he turns the old people, beats women, disperses the permissible and unresolved rallies, and the chocolates that the elderly teacher of the German “under -fed” fighters were handed out at the beginning of the film. "We are power here," but they arrest "some girls from Pussy Riot." “We are power”, but no one hears this “power”, except for those who gather in the squares, and now there is a disaster (according to the authors of the film)-on May 6, 2012, and now another, the absurd power in uniform and ties starts criminal cases and distributes real and conditional time to the right and left.
But what about Vsevolod Chernozub? Having talked a little about the fact that there are politicians who want to be on the cover of the magazine, and there are those who dream of covering the history textbook, and now he, Chernozub, just from the latter, leaves for one European country. And what about Til, he is Vitaly Morozov? He lives and lives, and even came to the premiere to continue to carry nonsense. The fate of the rest of the heroes is known: Boris Nemtsov, Harry Kasparov, Sergey Udaltsov ... Of all who are not in the grave, not in prison and not in emigration, only Alexei Navalny continues to fight the power, despite the planted brother and criminal cases against himself. So what about the question sign in the name? Is Putin forever? The answer begs sad, but I do not want to write it.
