The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow found Karl Mars, who was detained on Pushkinskaya Square on Constitution Day, December 12, guilty of disobeying the lawful order of a police officer and fined him a thousand rubles.
The court rejected the petition of Mars, who asked to postpone the meeting, since his lawyer was at that time in another court.
Mars and his lawyer were not notified of the hearing in his case. On the morning of December 17, Mars was summoned to the Meshchansky police department and from there he was forcibly taken to court.
