As a result of Sunday airstrikes in the center of the city of Idlib held by the rebels, 73 people died in the north-west of Syria. As Reuters reports , local rescue services stated this. According to eyewitnesses, the bombs were dropped by Russian bombers.

At least six strokes were inflicted on a market square in the city center, as well as on administrative buildings and residential quarters. Persons of 43 dead have been established, at least 30 have yet to be identified.

According to an employee of the civil defense forces Yasser Hammo, there is a "very many bodies" under the rubble. Volunteers and employees of self -defense forces continue to extract the dead.

On the frames common in social networks and on the ORIENT TV prooposition channel, an ambulance hurrying from the area where rescuers and volunteers conduct searches in destroyed buildings are visible. “Everyone is afraid that this is only the beginning,” the television channel quoted the words of a local resident of Al -Muzin. Local residents claim that they have learned to distinguish Russian bombers: they fly at a greater height than Syrian helicopters dropping barrels.

On the eve of the Human Rights Watch human rights organization published a report according to which cassette ammunition used at least 20 times during the operation in Syria. According to human rights activists, in total, 35 civilians were injured as a result of these strokes - including five women and 17 children. Two attacks came to the refugee camp, another - to the school in the suburbs of Damascus.

The Russian operation in Syria began on September 30. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims to be inflicted on accurate blows from which the civilian population does not suffer. At the same time, civilian objects also suffer from the blows of Russian aviation, and civilians, including children, are dying and are injured.
