"MediaArtlab" moves to the Plane

In the State Museum of Fine Arts. A.S. Pushkin (Pushrooms) will appear a department of media art, led by artist and curator Olga Shishko, founder of the Center for Art and Culture "MediaArtlab", which was previously located in the "arena".

“We decided that this department will be our part, but this will take time. To do this, we need to make a staffing table and so on, ”she said.

From December 1, the Empire “Impressions 2.0” , which is oversees Shishko, has been held in the MiMia. In the future, the MediaArtlab team will organize an exhibition of artists specializing in the video art at the Museum. Olga Shishko left the post of Deputy General Director of the Manezh Museum and Exhibition Association in March 2014. Among the projects implemented under her leadership of Mediaartlab for two and a half years of cooperation with Manezhe, the exhibitions of Videra, Reflecting on Death, Sound-Frame, Golden Age of the Russian Avangard , the MediaArtlab Open School, the Educational Project of the Avangard Production , and the Conference, and the General School.
