Dead release

Member of the Council of Ecological Watch in the North Caucasus, Evgeny Vitishko, was released from the colony-settlement No. 2 in the village of Sadovy Kirsanovsky district of the Tambov region. This was announced to the "Franes" by the coordinator of Ekovakhta Andrei Rudomakh, who, together with colleagues in organizing the Politzek at the colony gates.

In the first interview at large, Vitishko told the "faces" that he would continue social activities and was not going to leave the country. He thanked all participants in the international campaign for his release.

Earlier on Tuesday, the judge of the Tambov regional court, Vadim Ott, confirmed the decision of the Kirsanovsky District Court to replace Vitishko for a terrible part of the deadline with restriction of freedom. After that, the decision entered into force.

The court of first instance issued its decision on November 10 , and if it weren’t for the prosecutor’s protest, Vitishko would be released on the 21st of the same month. However, the day before this date, November 20, the deputy of the Tambov prosecutor for the supervision of compliance with laws in correctional institutions, Anatoly Lutov filed an appeal to this decision in the regional court , thus finging his entry into force.

At the same time, the prosecutor’s protest did not concern the essence of the decision itself, but the formal nuance: Lutov asked to ban Vitishko for a period of 1 year 3 months to travel outside Slavyansk-on-Kuban, where the activist was registered.

Meanwhile, during a meeting on Tuesday, the prosecutor's office agreed with the arguments of the defense and changed the content of her submission, asking the court to limit the movement of Vitishko not Slavic-on-Kuban, but to the Tuapse district, since the ecologist actually lives in Tuapse. It was such a decision that the judge was made by Ott.

Vitishko’s defense linked the filing of the appellate representation with the prononized ecologist participation in the All-Russian Civil Forum, which was held in Moscow on November 21-22. It was assumed that after liberation, the ecologist, without stopping home, would visit Moscow and give a press conference as part of this forum. As can be concluded from the explanations of the defense, the prosecutor's office received an instruction to disrupt this trip.

In protest against the actions of the supervisory authority, Vitishko declared a hunger strike on November 23 , however, three weeks later, on December 14, he took it off referring to his health .

On June 20, 2012, the Judge of the Tuapse District Court of Kuban Galina Avji sentenced Vitishko and his colleague Suren Gazaryanto three years conditionally with a two -year test term on charges of damage to the fence in the country of the then governor of the region Alexander Tkachev, now the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. Later, a new business was opened against Gazaryan; He disappeared from the country and received political asylum in Estonia.

On December 20, 2013, the Judge of the Tuapse City Court Igor Milinchuk, on the proposal of the penal inspection, replaced the vitishko with a conditional term in a colony-settlement . On February 12, 2014, the judge of the Krasnodar Kraisud Andrei Konnov left this decision in force .
