According to the interlocutor of the agency, at the beginning of 2015, a local resident addressed one of the police departments in the north of Moscow with a statement about the disappearance of a 16-year-old son. It turned out that since December 2014, Dmitry P. on social networks under the fictional name of Aldam Amagov published photos in which he was depicted with weapons in his hands against the backdrop of the symbols of IS "surrounded by men of Arabic appearance." “He also posted materials that propagate terrorism and the ideas of radical Islam,” a source in law enforcement agencies told the Moscow agency.

Experts found that the Internet user posted photographs and texts from IP addresses in Turkey, Syria and Iraq. "The analysis of the texts allows us to conclude that they are written precisely by missing and that he takes part in hostilities," the source noted.

According to Interfax, a teenager is a citizen of Georgia, but almost all his life he lived in Moscow. The agency reports that he is 17, not 16 years old. According to investigators, in December 2014 he went to Turkey, from where he moved to Syria to the territory controlled by IG.

On the fact of the disappearance of the Muscovite, a criminal case was opened under Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an organization recognized as terrorist). The teenager is wanted as a suspect in a serious crime. For the perpetrators under this article, a punishment of imprisonment for a period of five to 10 years is provided.

It is worth noting that although experts indicated that young people most often become easy prey of IS recruiters on the network, it was still talking about adults. The most resonance case of this kind was an attempt to join the militants of the student of Moscow State University Barbara Karaulova. The girl, succumbing to campaigning on the Internet, went to Turkey in the summer to get to Syria from there. However, she was detained, after which they delivered to Moscow.

Later, a criminal case was instituted against Barbara (who replaced the name to Alexander Ivanov) under Part 1 of Art. 30 - part 2 of Art. 205.5 Criminal Code. She is accused of trying to participate in a terrorist organization. Last week, Karaulova was appointed psychological and psychiatric examination. Such a decision was made by the FSB investigator at a meeting of the Lefortovo Court of Moscow.

The court also satisfied the application of the investigation, who asked to leave the student in custody for three months and five days, refusing to protect the girl to change the preventive measure for house arrest. The term of the preliminary investigation in the case against Karaulova was extended until April 23, 2016.
