"Garage" launched a new site

The Garage Museum of Modern Art announced the launch of a new version of its site - Garagemca.org.

According to the press service of the Garage, “important tasks in developing the site were convenience in using and the possibility of representing all areas of the museum of both the Russian and international audience.”

GarageMCA.org is redesigned for visitors: in addition to a complete description of all the services of the museum and the fares, it contains detailed information for people with disabilities. Now, when planning your visit, you can make an excursion in the brutal language or find out where to get a bowl for a guide dog.

With the help of a “calendar”, which provides for the possibility of filtering events by type, you can plan a visit to exhibitions, lectures or master classes, as well as buy an online ticket or a subscription for educational courses.

The “Collection” section contains detailed information about the Museum’s collection. In addition, you can contact employees of the scientific department for advice by filling out an application on the site.

The “Research” section contains detailed information about research initiatives and projects of the museum, which were carried out at different times until today. A separate block is devoted to information and expert materials: interviews with curators, book reviews and news about current projects.

In 2016, an online version of the interactive installation of “Tree of modern Russian art” will appear on the site.
