Dvorkovich: sanctions against Turkey will be expanded

Russia will expand the sanctions imposed against Turkey. According to TASS, this was announced in an interview with the Russian 24 television channel by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavushoglu said his country "makes great efforts" to restore relations with Russia. According to the minister, "one day relations between countries will be as before."

In accordance with the decree, a ban or restriction on the import of certain types of Turkish goods into Russia was introduced. The ban was on the ban on vegetables and fruits, which form the basis of Turkish exports.
