The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined the former leader of Yabloko, Sergei Mitrokhin, in the wake of his detention on December 12 at an uncoordinated March of Change. Protocols were drawn up against Mitrokhin on violating the procedure for holding public events and disobeying the lawful demands of police officers, but the court considered that Mitrokhin was only guilty of disobedience and issued a fine of a thousand rubles, TASS . reports
“As follows from the case file, he took part in the picket as part of a group of 20 people, held a banner and shouted slogans, and also resisted police officers during the arrest,” the agency said in a statement.
The first court session in the Mitrokhin administrative case was scheduled for December 18, but on that day the case materials were returned to the Tverskoy police department, as the court considered them to be of poor quality.
