1905. Daniil Harms was born

110 years ago, on December 30, 1905, Daniil Harms (Yuvachev), a writer and poet, a participant in the association of Oberiu, one of the founders of absurdism in Russian literature, was born. In December 1931, he was first arrested on charges of participating in the "anti -Soviet group of writers" and received three years of exile. On August 23, 1941, Harms was again arrested for the spread of "slanderous and amazing moods" and died on February 2, 1942 in the psychiatric department of the hospital at the Leningrad prison "Crosses". In 1960 he was rehabilitated.
