Subtle colors, an open kitchen and the ability to build your own sandwich at Hong Kong's McDonald's Next

in Hong Kong In December, a McDonald's chain opened , which is positioned as a new generation of fast food restaurants, McDonald's Next. What distinguishes it from traditional establishments is the design of the room, developed in collaboration with the design firm Landini Associates, and the approach to food preparation.
At this McDonald's you can not only use Wi-Fi, but also charge your phone - chargers are located on every table. The understated design, with wooden counters and no traditional colors of white and red, ensures that the focus is on the food, service and diners.
The lighting in the establishment is controlled automatically and changes depending on the time of day: it is brighter during the day and more subdued in the evenings. After 18:00, visitors also have the opportunity to use the help of waiters who will bring their order to the table.
