In the Russian Federation, a program for patriotic education has been adopted

The total cost of the program is estimated at 1.66 billion rubles

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a resolution on approval of the program of patriotic education of citizens for 2016-2020. This was reported on the website of the Government of Russia.

"The state program is aimed at creating conditions for increasing the level of consolidation of the company in solving the problems of sustainable development of Russia and ensuring national security," the certificate of the decision said. It is noted that the state program is focused on all social layers and age groups while maintaining the priority of patriotic education of children and youth.

The functions of the coordinator during the implementation of the state program are assigned to the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The main executors of the program are the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Culture.

The total cost of the program is estimated at 1.66 billion rubles, of which over 305 million rubles are provided for 2016. Most of these funds will be allocated from the federal budget.
