Pierre Boulez died

On January 5, the French composer and conductor Pierre Bulez died in Baden-Baden at the age of 90.

Pierre Boulez was born in 1925 in the monbruson (Department of Loire), in 1942-1945 he studied compositions at the Paris Conservatory in the class of Olvier Messian, at the end of the conservatory studied serial and dodeconon technique of the composition under the leadership of Rene Leibovitsa, a student of Arnold Schönberg.

Boulez wrote the first works in the second half of the 1940s, the composer was brought to the composer’s cantata “Sun Water” (1948) and the second piano sonata (1948). In the early 1950s, Boulez began experimenting with electronic, specific and microchromatic music, from 1974 to 1992 he headed the Institute of Musical and Acoustic Research ( IRCAM ).
