Civil activists continue the round -the -clock duty at the place of the murder of Boris Nemtsov. The idea to be on duty on a large Moskvoretsky bridge arose after the defeat of the national memorial, studied in March 2015. Later, the memorial was repeatedly attacked, but it was restored every time. In some cases, the liability for its elimination was taken by activists of the radical groups "Russian liberation movement SERB" and "National Liberation Movement". Flowers and candles from the scene of the murder of Nemtsov regularly export the communal service "Hormost".

On weekdays, people from the informal group "Manezhnaya Square" take a shift on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky bridge, and on weekends they are replaced by members of the Solidarity movement.

"Hormost" almost every day is cleaning the bridge, at the first opportunity destroying the national memorial. This is evidenced by civil activists who have been taking care of the memorial for almost ten months. Every day at 23 hours 31 minutes, the duty officers on the bridge declare a minute of silence in the memory of Boris Nemtsov. Civil activists collected several thousand signatures to perpetuate the memory of the opposition, but in the Moscow City Duma this proposal was considered provocative , saying that in the capital there is no tradition to erect monuments at the places of murders of politicians.

Boris Nemtsov was shot in the center of Moscow late on the evening of February 27, 2015. In the case of the murder of a politician, five people were arrested: the alleged performers of crime Zaur Dadaev and Anzor Gubashev, as well as three of their probable accomplices. At the end of December 2015, he was charged with the final edition. Another suspect of involvement in the murder - Ruslan Geremeyev - was put on the wanted list.

The organizer and customer of the murder of Boris Nemtsov , the Investigative Committee of Russia called the fighter of the battalion "North" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya Ruslan Mukhudinov, former driver Ruslan Geremeyev. A criminal case against him was allocated into separate proceedings. On November 18, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Mukhudinov in absentia on charges of murder and illegal turnover of weapons. It is declared in the federal and international wanted list.
