The ban on “Russians” was appealed in the Supreme Court
Lawyer Oleg Kolesnikov, representing the interests of nationalist Dmitry Demushkin, on January 11 appealed to the Supreme Court the recognition of the ethnopolitical association “Russians” as extremist. Demushkin reported this to the online publication Gazeta.ru.
The association was banned on October 28, and the head of the organization, Dmitry Demushkin, announced its self-liquidation. In December, the Moscow City Court upheld the decision of the first instance without changes.
