
In the Kalininsky District Court of St. Petersburg, a trial begins on charges of illegal storage of drugs that died in the investigative insulator of 26-year-old Evgeny Romanov. As the lawyer Vitaly Cherkasov, representing the interests of the mother of the deceased, told the Frances.ru, the mother of Romanova insisted on the criminal case after death, confident in the innocence of her son.
“Criminal cases for drug storage are stamped easily, very often in relation to people whose guilt under a big question,” the lawyer noted. “In our case, the police wanted to bring the guy to court, but it turned out more and sadder. He died in conditions that were not adapted for his health.”
The mother of Evgeny Romanov appealed to the Investigative Committee with a statement on the initiation of a criminal case against the unidentified doctors of the investigative insulator. In the pre -trial detention center, Romanov was kept since July 2015, where forced drug treatment was used by psychotropic drugs, in particular, the injections of clopixol, haloperidol, cyclodol, chlor reservoir, although, according to his mother, his son had individual intolerance to these drugs.
The statement of the Investigative Committee reports that "as a result of compulsory medical treatment with psychotropic drugs, the health of Romanov E.V. worsened sharply and 04.12.15. The state of his clinical death was diagnosed. Thus, signs of causing death by negligence due to the inappropriate fulfillment of their professional duties were seen."
At the same time, as Romanov’s mother claims, her son was neither drug addict nor alcohol -dependent. According to her, he suffered from a mental disorder.
