A court in Orenburg acquitted the coordinator of truckers in the case of an uncoordinated picket

A court in Orenburg acquitted Alexei Gubantsov, coordinator of the truckers' protest, against whom a protocol was drawn up on organizing an uncoordinated event. According to Orenburg News, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs claimed that Gubantsov was the organizer of an uncoordinated picket of drivers near the Armada shopping center on December 17, 2015. At the same time, the protocol on the offense against him was drawn up only on December 30.

The court found the arguments of the police unconvincing, the newspaper reports.

In November 2015, Gubantsov was fined 10,000 rubles under the same administrative article. At that time, a case was also opened against the coordinator of truckers for violating the order of the event, which prevented the movement of vehicles, but it was terminated due to the lack of corpus delicti.

On December 2, Gubantsov, like other participants in the picket of truckers, was interrogated by the police in connection with an attempt to set fire to and fire at the city office of the Platon system, which the truckers oppose.
