The criminal case against the co -owner of the AFK "System" by Vladimir Yevtushenkov was terminated. This is stated in the message on the company's website . The case was instituted on the acquisition of shares of enterprises included in the fuel and energy complex of Bashkiria.
Information about the termination of the case by TASS was confirmed by the lawyer Yevtushenkov Vladimir Kozin. “The criminal case is closed due to the lack of corpus delicti,” he said.
The defender explained that the basis for the termination was the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court "On the AFK System" to Ural-Invest LLC, which states that the plaintiff acted conscientiously and did not know that the acquired property was the property of Russia, and the defendant, in turn, did not have the right to alienate this property. "
Against the background of the termination of the criminal case, the AFK System shares increased during trading on the Moscow Exchange by 5.7 percent and reached 18.55 rubles per paper.
The criminal case on the illegal sale of shares of the Bashneft oil company was opened in April 2014. In August, the son of the ex-president of Bashkiria Ural Rakhimov was charged in absentia of money against money when selling Bashneft in 2009 AFK system structures. The investigation believed that the shares were bought at a deliberately low price - with a discount of $ 500 million. In this case, a large entrepreneur Levon Ayrapetyan, whom the investigation suspected of involvement in the transaction, was also arrested.
On September 15, 2014, in the framework of the Bashneft case , the charge of legalizing funds was brought by Yevtushenkov. He was placed under house arrest. In December 2014, Yevtushenkov was released for the obligation of the appearance to investigators.
According to investigators, Ural Rakhimov, together with Ayrapetyan, developed a plan for the theft of shares of TEK Bashkiria enterprises. Using the official position of his father, the head of Bashkiria, Murtazi Rakhimov, Ural Rakhimov organized theft of control packages of shares of a number of open joint -stock companies with a total value of more than 130 billion rubles. Further, Ural Rakhimov, according to investigators, ensured the sale of shares in OJSC AFK System and other legal entities totaling more than $ 2.5 billion. Rakhimov was arrested in absentia in December 2014. Now he is in Austria.
