In connection with the death of a woman in the elite Moscow residential complex "Scarlet Sails", investigators detained the electrician Alexei Belousov. He works at the Lift Guarantor company and shortly before the tragedy examined the equipment in a multi -storey building. The day before, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Providing work that do not meet safety requirements."

"On suspicion of committing this crime, an electrician Alexei Belousov was detained, who is an employee of the Lift Guarantor company, who shortly before the tragedy performed work on the technical maintenance of the elevator and elevator equipment. In addition, the investigation studies technical documentation and technical regulations in order to verify the management of the contracting company for impatient crime," the press service said Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Capital.

According to representatives of the investigation, as part of the investigation of the criminal case in the management and operating companies responsible for the proper operation of the elevator, searches were also carried out.

The official representative of the Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin on the air "Vesti FM" suggested that the tragedies similar to what happened in the "scarlet sails" occur due to the lack of proper maintenance.

“As a rule, such things happen when there is no appropriate maintenance. Especially if it turns out that there were repeated complaints about the elevator of the elevator. This disorder in the Criminal Code is qualified as negligence,” the representative of the department said. He promised that the culprits of the tragedy would be identified.

“It is surprising when such tragedies take place in the so -called elite houses. The elevator, which, as far as I know, is not even 10 years old, and the floor fails in it - this, of course, is just disgrace. And most importantly, the tragedy happened to the woman who left two children,” the representative of the SCR added.

Vladimir Markin noted that "people who bought housing in this house for a lot of money, probably did not think that death would find them in an elite elevator."

Meanwhile, in the Moscow head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they refuted information about the discovery of the second body in the elevator of the elevator of the house on Aviation Street. This is the third similar case that has occurred in Moscow over the past two months. On December 19, due to the fall in the elevator in a high-rise building on Ostrovityanov Street, a ten-month-old baby died . The elevator cabin suddenly fell off at the moment when the parents went inside, and the stroller with the child was between the doors. The child received fatal injuries, his parents were not injured. Subsequently, it turned out that the inhabitants of the house repeatedly complained about the work of this elevator and as a result it was repaired a week before the tragedy.

Fortunately, in this case there were no casualties: the woman did not receive serious injuries and refused to hospitalize, the metropolitan head of the Ministry of Emergencies reported. The reason for this emergency has not yet been announced.
