A flower bloomed on the ISS
A flower has bloomed for the first time on the International Space Station. Astronaut Scott Kelly posted a photo of the blossoming zinnia on his Twitter.
As stated on the NASA website, the experiment on growing flowers in space is aimed at studying the issues of growing various plants in zero gravity. A total of four plants were planted, two of which died. Previously, flowers were not grown on the ISS.
