Jehovah's Witness fined in Yakutia

On January 18, 2016, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) reported that the Mirninsky District Court of the city of Udachny fined under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (distribution of extremist materials) to a follower of Jehovah's Witnesses. The amount of the fine was not specified in the message. The reason was that, according to the prosecutor's office and the FSB, in October 2015, a resident of Udachny distributed forbidden brochures of Jehovah's Witnesses among residents of city houses.
