
The Moscow Arbitration Court, at the request of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, recognized the Nota-Bank bankrupt, RAPSI reports . In relation to the bank, competitive production for a period of one year has been opened, the bankruptcy trustee is scheduled for deposit insurance (ASV).
As the representative of the Central Bank explained at a court hearing, the bankruptcy statement was submitted due to the fact that the amount of Nota-Bank obligations (almost 51 billion rubles) exceed the size of its assets (15.2 billion rubles).
In December 2015, the Forbes magazine said that the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs launched a criminal case under an article on fraud against unidentified persons related to the Nota Bank. The statement was submitted by the general director of Mostotrest Vladimir Vlasov.
Mostotrest previously belonged to Marc O'Polo Investments Igor Rotenberg, son of Arkady Rotenberg. It was reported that the former company of Rotenberg did not manage to withdraw funds from a note-bank.
The regulator deprived of the “Nota-Bank” of the license in November 2015. A credit institution was founded in Tyumen called the Tyumen Regional Bank of Development. In 2004, the bank received its current name.
On September 1, 2015, Nota-Bank ranked 80th place among Russian credit institutions in terms of assets.
