Soon after the first explosion 10 m from the scene, the second thundered, while no one was injured.

“The first explosion was a bait for police officers who were supposed to arrive at the place and become a victim of the second explosion,” Songkhl Songkhla Sacon Sacon Nondrattan Euronews quotes the head of the police department, quoted.

At the moment, the motives of the attack are being established.

Recall that in December 2015, Reuters reported the document that came on the social network - the warning of the FSB of Russia, which was sent to Thai intelligence services.

The document allegedly was about the fact that 10 Syrians related to the “Islamic state” entered the country (the organization’s activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation - approx. Corny), and they can prepare attacks in resorts , the goals of which, perhaps, will be Russians.

Later, writes RBC, the head of the Thai Bureau of Interpol said that there is no reason to believe that the Islamic State is preparing terrorist attacks at the resorts of Thailand against the Russians.
