The film director Ettore Shy died

The Italian director and screenwriter Ettore Shy died on Tuesday evening at the 85th year of life. According to TASS, earlier he was hospitalized in the cardiological department of one of the Roman hospitals and was in a coma from Sunday.

The chip was born on May 10, 1931 in a large family of a doctor in Treviko. At the same time, with his studies at the Law Faculty of Roman University, La Sapienza Schol worked as an artist in the Mark Aurelius’s humorous journal. Since 1951, he began to perform with humor and sketches in satirical magazines and on the radio. In 1953, the chip made his debut as a screenwriter, and in 1964 - as a director with a comedy "If you allow, let's talk about women."

The most famous pictures of chips are “we loved each other so much” (1974), “disgusting, dirty, evil” (1976), “unusual day” (1977) and “Ball” (1983). The chip has repeatedly became a laureate of prizes of international festivals, including Venetian, Moscow, Cannes.

A special relationship was associated with Federico Fellini. He was dedicated to the last work of Scholya - a semi -domestic -semi -poligrian film "This is a strange name Federico!" He was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Fellini's death and was shown in 2013 at the Venice Film Festival.
