The case of Alexander Belov, one of the leaders of the "Russians" movement, recently banned as extremist, was transferred from the Nagatinskiy District Court of Moscow to Meshchanskiy. According to RAPSI with reference to Ivan Mironov, who represents the interests of the accused, this decision was made in connection with the fact. that the registration of the transaction of shares, which the investigation regards as laundering money stolen from BTA Bank in Kazakhstan, took place on the territory that belongs to the Meshchansky Court.
It is not yet known when the hearings will begin.
In addition to money laundering, Belov is accused of creating a criminal community to bring about the regime of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
