Peskov attributed the findings of the investigation into Litvinenko’s death to “British humor”

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the conclusions of the investigation into the death of Alexander Litvinenko belong to the category of "British humor." According to him, such “quasi-investigations” are not taken seriously in Russia.

“This is a joke, but this (investigation) can be attributed to elegant British humor, when a public and open investigation is based on classified information from unnamed intelligence agencies and is based on the abundant use of the words “possibly” and “probably,” Peskov said.

• London High Court Judge Robert Owen presented a report following a public hearing on January 21 that the assassination of Alexander Litvinenko was allegedly authorized by FSB director Nikolai Patrushev and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
