Rostourism has restored 31 companies to the register of tour operators, including one of the Anex Tour companies. Earlier, the agency stated that the condition for returning to the register is that the companies do not have Turkish beneficiaries.

Rostourism included 31 companies in the unified federal register of tour operators, among them was one of the legal entities of the tour operator with Turkish roots, “Anex Tour,” which was previously excluded from the register. The corresponding order dated January 18 was published on the website of the Federal Tourism Agency.

The company "Exclusive Travel" (one of the legal entities of the tour operator) is included in the register under number MT3 016189 as a tour operator for domestic, inbound and outbound tourism. The company's financial liability is insured by the Univers-Garant insurance company for 30 million rubles.

As Elena Kokoeva, executive head of the tour operator’s PR department, explained to Interfax, contracts with tourists and agencies will be concluded with the mention of “Exclusive Travel”.

At the same time, the press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST), Irina Tyurina, explained to the agency that Exclusive Travel was excluded from the register not because of sanctions against companies associated with Turkey. As Tyurina said, “Exclusive Travel” is one of the legal entities of the tour operator “Anex Tour”, which did not have any Turkish beneficiaries. After several of its legal entities were excluded from the register, the tour operator invited agencies to book tours through this company.

“However, it turned out that the company was excluded from the register on December 21 upon the expiration of the financial security agreement. After the holidays, the company submitted documents to be reinstated in the register, and now Rostourism has brought it back,” Tyurina said.

At the end of December last year, Rostourism announced that from January 1, 19 legal entities associated with Turkish business will be excluded from the federal register of tour operators. These included, in particular, Pegasus Touristik, Coral Travel, Sunmar Tour and Anex Tour.

Later, Rostourism stated that tour operators excluded from the register will be able to be restored to it if they prove the absence of Turkish beneficiaries .

Previously, the Russian government published a list of industries in which Turkish companies are prohibited from operating from January 1. In particular, the tourism sector was included in it: Turkish companies will not be able to own and manage Russian hotels, travel agencies and other organizations “providing services in the tourism sector.”
