At a rally in Grozny in support of Chechnya's head Ramzan Kadyrov and against the "non-systemic opposition" on January 22, Duma deputy from the republic Adam Delimkhanov said that critics of Kadyrov and Putin would be answered "according to the law and not according to the law."

They will be held accountable according to the law. And not by law. They may be located not on the territory of the Russian Federation, but in other countries, we do not accept their laws. The rally participants held posters with attacks against oppositionists Alexei Navalny and Ilya Yashin, editor-in-chief of Ekho Moskvy Alexei Venediktov, and musician Andrei Makarevich.

Delimkhanov earlier, like other supporters of Kadyrov, made a harsh statement to the opposition, but at that time he promised to "question such shaitans to the fullest extent of federal laws," although he noted his readiness to "fulfill any order" of the head of Chechnya.
