By the time, there were reports of the international wanted list (it should, however, note that neither Dzhemillev nor Chubarov was found in the database of Interpol ), it was already known that Dzhemilev was put on the federal wanted list and the case under the three articles was instituted . However, Poklonskaya refused to call them so as not to harm the investigation. Meanwhile, a number of media without reference to sources reported that Jamillev was accused of illegally crossing the border (Article 322 of the Criminal Code), illegal storage of weapons and ammunition (Article 222 of the Criminal Code) and careless handling of firearms (Article 224 of the Criminal Code).
Later, the lawyer of the leader of the Crimean Tatars Dzhemil Temyshevpublished on the Facebook page the text of the resolution of the Kiev District Court of Simferopol on the election of Mustafa Dzhemilev measures to be detained with detailed information about what his client is accused of. This text confirms the messages that have appeared in the media.
According to the court order, Jamielev was declared on the federal wanted list on July 30, 2015, and on the international on December 18.
Three episodes are charged with the leader of the Crimean Tatars. One of them took place on May 3, 2014. The other two relate to the events that occurred in the Crimea long before the referendum on joining the Russian Federation - from April 2 to May 20, 2013 and in the period from June 26, 1996 to May 27, 2013.
The case of the illegal crossing of the border of the Russian Federation was instituted on August 11, 2014 in the footsteps of the incident on May 3. Then Dzhemilev, as reported in the decree, “knowingly knowing that <...> he was prohibited from entering the Russian Federation for a period of five years, <...> arrived by a car of the Land Rover brand <...> on the control and access point through the state border of the Russian Federation“ Armenian ”(Turkish Val), located on the territory of the city district of the Republic of Crimea, for the purpose illegal entry into the Russian Federation. ” After that, “realizing his criminal intent, aimed at illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, reliably knowing the established procedure for crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, acting intentionally in violation of the Federal Law of 08.15.1996 No. 114-ФЗ“ On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation, realizing the social danger and the illegitimate nature of its actions, Anticipating the inevitability of the occurrence of socially dangerous consequences in the form of a violation of the management procedure established in the Russian Federation and wanting their offensive, crossed the state border of the Russian Federation from the territory of the Kherson Region (Ukraine) at the indicated checkpoint, between geographical coordinates N 46008.2431 (latitude) E33038.70g (long) and N 46008.1761 (latitude) E33038.770g (longitude), illegally entered the territory of the Russian Federation. ”
Dzhemilev then failed to get into the territory of Crimea. Several thousand Crimean Tatars broke through the cordon at the checkpoint in Armyansk. In the wake of these events, another criminal case was instituted - five people were held accountable under an article on the application of violence to law enforcement officers (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). They were kept under arrest, but then they were released for guarantee. Later, Musa Apekerimov, Tair, and Eden Osmanov were sentenced to deprivation of freedom conditionally, Eden Ebulisov - to a fine of 40 thousand rubles (data on the court decision regarding Rustam Abdurahmanov) could not be found).
The essence of the episode that happened no later than 2013 is, according to the investigation, that Dzhemilev “having owned <...> carbine <...>, kept this firearms in a metal safe installed in the room on the third floor of his house, <...> Putting the key to the specified safe in the place known to his son” Haiser. And in the period from 1996 to 2013, Dzhemilev Sr. “illegally acquired and illegally stored <...> in a metal safe <...> ammunition in the form of cartridges to rifled firearms <...> in the amount of 10 pieces.” The court ruling says that Haiser, having taken possession of this carbine, committed the intentional murder of a family friend, Fevzi Edemov.

Haiser Dzhemilev was judged by the death of Edemov on May 27, 2013 both in the Ukrainian and Russian court. But in both states he was found guilty of murder by negligence.
Dzhemilev Jr. was arrested in Bakhchisarai on April 30, 2014. The court in Kyiv decided to cancel this decision and release it, but the arrest was extended. The European Court of Human Rights obliged the Russian Federation to release Haiser Dzhemilev, but this decision was not implemented.
In the summer of 2014, Mustafa Dzhemilev reported that some representatives of Putin offer him to meet with the President of the Russian Federation, hinting that the fate of his son will depend on this. Dzhemilev refused the meeting.
As a result, Haiser Dzhemilev was transferred to Krasnodar and tried there. But the Jemilev Jr. case was also examined in absentia in the Dnieper District Court of Kyiv, who sentenced him to three years and eight months in prison-for murder by negligence, theft of firearms and ammunition and illegal storage of firearms and ammunition.
The court in the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court initially considered the charge of intentional murder, but the jury made a decision to retrain the accusation back to infliction of death by negligence. On June 10, 2015, Haiser Dzhemilev was sentenced to five years in the colony (he was also found guilty of embezzlement and illegal storage of weapons and ammunition), and on September 2, the Supreme Court reduced the term of imprisonment to three and a half years, and removed the accusation of death due to negligence due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Currently, Gemielev Jr. is located in a correctional colony No. 10 of the Astrakhan region. The Russian Federation refused to give it to Ukraine.
It should be noted that the episodes related to the murder occurred in Ukraine and were associated with citizens of Ukraine. However, this is not the first time in the Crimea that the events that occurred before the attachment of the peninsula to the Russian Federation have been starting up for the first time. It is enough to recall the “February 26 case” , also instituted against the Crimean Tatars (the main accused in this case is the deputy chairman of the Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz): the reason for him was clashes in Simferopol between supporters and opponents of the Maidan.
In addition, it is known about at least two cases instituted in Crimea in connection with the events on the Maidan in Kyiv. In 2015, Alexander Kostenko was found guilty of harming the Berkut fighter and illegal storage of weapons and sentenced to three years and eleven months of the colony. And on January 20, 2016, it became known about the transfer of the case to the assassination of two Berkut fighters based on political hatred and illegal acquisition of plants containing narcotic substances. (Later the prosecutor's office said that Andrei Kolomets is the accused.)
In relation to Refat Chubarov and Lenur Islyamov, also put on the wanted list, cases of calls for violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation were previously instituted in connection with their statements that Crimea should be returned to Ukraine.

In addition, in December 2015, the Poklonskaya prosecutor said that Islyamov was accused of sabotage in absentia as one of the organizers of the energy blockade of Crimea. On January 21, TASS disseminated Poklonskaya’s statement that the FSB started the case on the creation of an illegal armed formation in connection with his interview with the Ukrainian media about plans to create a battalion named after the first chairman of the Crimean People’s Republic in Crimea in 1917 Noman Chelebidzhikhan to liberate Crimea.

In this connection, Refat Chubarov has been accurately put on the international wanted list is still unknown.
