An anti -fascist march was held in Moscow. The annual action is dedicated to the memory of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasia Baburova, shot down on January 19, 2009. Members of the neo -Nazi group BORN Nikita Tikhonov and Evgeny Hasis were recognized by the executors of the murder, and Ilya Goryachev was recognized as the organizer. According to the testimony of BORN participants, Goryachev was associated with the presidential administration. He and Tikhonov were sentenced to life imprisonment, and Hasis - to the 18 years of the colony.

Activist Vladimir Ionov was put on the international wanted list. The Preobrazhensky court of Moscow made such a decision at the request of the prosecutor's office. Earlier it became known that the 76-year-old Ionov accused of “repeated violations of the rallies' law” went to Ukraine. The activist intends to ask for political asylum there - in Russia he may face three years of conditional term. Under this article (212.1) of the Criminal Code, Ildar Dadin was sentenced to three years in prison, whom the Memorial's human rights center recognized as a political prisoner. The same charges were brought by activists Mark Galperin and Irina Kalmykova.

The leader of the Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev was arrested in Crimea in absentia. He is also put on the federal wanted list. According to his lawyer Jamily Temyshev, the investigator and the prosecutor substantiated the application for the fact that Dzhemilev was “hiding from the investigation and court, could put pressure on witnesses, destroy evidence, is a citizen of another state, does not have a permanent residence in the territory of Crimea.” In the spring of 2014, it was reported to ban on the entry of the leader of the Crimean Tatar people to the territory of the Russian Federation for a period of 5 years.
