Expert Alexei Makarkin: Creation of the Titov party means rebranding for a long time

The Commissioner for the Protection of the Right of Entrepreneurs Boris Titov may enter the leaders of the list of any of the existing right-wing parties in order to run for the State Duma and have no need to collect signatures. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Polit.ru the first vice-president of the Center for Political Technology, the chief editor of Politkom.ru Alexei Makarkin, commenting on the reports that Titov intends to create a party and her story to the State Duma.

“It is clear that Titov can go to the State Duma with one of the existing parties.

If you create a new batch, then this means that it will not be possible to register it before the elections, and, therefore, it will not participate in them. Therefore, it will not become a party from scratch Titov. This is the first. Second: we have quite a few parties, but only 14 have the so -called federal license, that is, they have the right to participate in the elections without collecting signatures. The rest should collect signatures, but this is not only costly, heavy and dreary - and also almost hopeless.

Therefore, this is: there are 14 parties with the leaders of which Titov may agree. Of the most suitable, probably, his attention can be attracted by the “Civil Platform” and “Just business” parties. These parties have a rather peculiar story: Mikhail Prokhorov once consisted of both (in the “righteous” he was not very long, and the “civilian platform” founded it), and both of these parties at the expense of old merits have representation in regional legislatures. One of these two brands of Titov can take, especially since the brand of the “right -hand business” is well acquainted with him - Titov at one time was the co -chair of this party.

Thus, we are not talking about creating a new party, but about a very serious rebranding, ”explained Alexei Makarkin.

The fact that Boris Titov intends to create the right party was told by Kommersant FM on January 25, the head of the Office of the Commissioner for Entrepreneurs Tatyana Marchenko. According to her, there are consultations with several parties of the right.

It is expected that the program will consist of proposals that have been discussed more than once in business circles-in particular, at meetings of the Stolypin Club. “These are cheap loans, and a change in tariff policy, and a change in tax policy. If in general, this is a change in economic ideology in the country, ”Marchenko explained.
