
In 2015, the Russian economy decreased by 3.7%. Such a preliminary assessment was published by Rosstat on January 25. Separately for December, the department has not yet calculated the dynamics of GDP.
According to the preliminary assessment of the Ministry of Economic Development, the decline in GDP last year amounted to 3.9%. In January -November, as the ministry calculated, GDP decreased by 3.8%.
Earlier on January 25, Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev said that in December the reduction in the economy continued, but at a smaller pace than in November, when the seasonally cleaned GDP decreased by 0.3%. The head of the Ministry of Economic Development did not cite exact numbers.
As for industrial production, Rosstat appreciated its reduction in 2015 at 3.4%. In December, the indicator decreased by 4.5% in annual terms.
Oil production, according to Rosstat, last year, increased by 1.3% compared to 2014 and amounted to 533 million tons, gas production, on the contrary, fell by 2.6% to 554 billion cubic meters. The release of cars fell by 27.7% to 1.2 million pieces. The retail turnover was reduced by 10% to 25.58 trillion rubles.
The real disposable incomes of the population in 2015 decreased by 4%. Real wages in Russia for a year decreased by 9.5% with a nominal salary by 4.6%. For comparison, in the crisis of 2009, the real salary in the Russian Federation fell by 3.5%, and has not been reduced since then.
