According to a recently released report from the National Center for Science and Technology Statistics of the National Science Foundation, the share of immigrants among the nation's scientists and engineers is growing. In 2013 they accounted for 18% (5.2 million people), compared to 16% (3.4 million) ten years ago. Most have already become naturalized US citizens (63%), while another 22% are permanent residents and 15% are working in the country on temporary visas.

— 15 years ago, registering a business in California took 15 minutes, and you had to go to some office to do it. Now all you have to do is sign a piece of paper and send it by mail. Takes 5 minutes. It will probably take another 15 years, and some website will simply have a “register a business” button.

— Generally speaking, such a button already exists: ( ca.gov/OnlineServices/OS_Business.html ). Not everything is obvious there, and in many states things are already set up even better, but everything can really be solved in 3 clicks!
