VTB demanded a billion from the Moscow Duty Free operator

VTB Bank filed a lawsuit against Aerofirst, which operates the Moscow Duty Free chain of duty-free stores. The plaintiff demands more than a billion rubles from the defendant. An application was submitted to the Moscow Arbitration Court in connection with non-fulfillment of loan obligations.

In mid-January, the Moscow Duty Free store closed at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, said an airport representative. The store was closed for reconstruction due to a change in the management company - instead of Aerofirst, Imperial Duty Free will take control of the retail facilities, she explained. According to her, Aerofirst decided to terminate relations with Sheremetyevo, and the airport had to urgently look for a replacement.
