Rapper Bob and astrophysicist Tyson arranged a battles about the form of the third planet from the sun

At the end of January, an amazing discussion took place on Twitter - the rapper of the second echelon BOB publicly argued with astrophysicist and a well -known popularizer of science Nile Dergrasses Tyson about whether the earth was flat. The rapper insisted that the earth had a edge, and Tyson tried to politely explain to him that this was not so. The 27-year-old rapper Bob was famous a few years ago thanks to the song Airplanes with Haley Williams from the Paramore, but for a long time he did not come out of anything worthwhile, and his last album remained almost unnoticed. At the end of January, the media finally recalled the media-but not in connection with music, but because of a series of tweets about the characteristics of planet Earth.

According to BOB, the horizon line seems flat, and therefore all the conversations about round ground are a lie, because otherwise the horizon had to be rounded. The rapper claims that world powers limit the research of the South and North Pole, because the Earth ends there, and the main task of NASA is to protect secrets about the flat surface of our planet. Bob has repeatedly emphasized that he says all this not for the sake of PR, but because he wants to open his eyes to people.

For example, BOB believes that the polar star, if the earth is really round, cannot be visible in the southern hemisphere - the planet will obscure it, although in reality it can be seen on the southern latitude to 20 degrees. The rapper, of course, did not come up with the arguments in favor of the flat earth - there are no less sites with similar theories than the “revelations” of landing on the moon. BOB mostly made fun of Bob, although there are those whom he convinced.

But Neil Degrass Tyson could not stand it. Tyson is an extremely charismatic black-and-a-scale astrophysicist, a person leading a popular science television show, director of the Planetarium Hideen in New York, a hero of several memes and a favorite of the Internet. On his Twitter, Tyson constantly discusses on subcutaneous topics, especially on the theme of space. Seeing the rapper’s pseudo -scientific reasoning, who gained thousands of retweets, Tyson in detail (as far as Twitter allows), exposed them.

The rapper’s answer was enchanting.

And after a day, Bob in the best traditions of Hip-Hop answered Nil Degrass Tyson Disse-a special track in which he outlined his views on the theory of flat land and conspiracy NASA. The guest of the hastily made track became Tyson himself, whose speech was replaced.

In less than a day, the Nile Degrass Tyson accepted the call and joined the full rap battles. “Dear Bob, I am an astrophysicist and I don’t read rap, but I know who reads,” wrote Tyson, and published the Flat To Fact track, written by his nephew Steve. A relative of astrophysicist in the track for the back of Drake’s song Back to Back tells how Bob is mistaken, and Tyson himself explains: the main thing is that people with power in their hands do not think that the land is flat. Similar exchanges of disits in the rap are called bifs - in the nineties they ended in shootings and murders, now they have reached science.

Bob, by the way, is not the only celebrity, confident that the earth is flat. More recently, the star of the reality show Tila Teel also spoke about this, but she could not attract the attention of the famous popularizer of science.
